The short version: Job Matcher uses the details you provide to operate your account, explain job matches, maintain your tracker, and deliver alerts you choose. It does not apply to jobs in your name.

1. Information we collect

When you create and use an account, Job Matcher may store:

  • Your name, email address, mobile number, verification status, and password hash when you create a password.
  • When you choose Google sign-in, your verified name, email address, and Google's stable account identifier. Job Matcher does not retain the Google access token or your Google password.
  • Your resume metadata and the profile details you confirm, including skills, education, experience, and graduation year. In privacy-first deployment mode, the original resume is discarded immediately after parsing.
  • Job preferences such as roles, locations, work modes, job types, and alert schedule.
  • Application statuses and private notes you add to your tracker.
  • Telegram identifiers needed to connect and deliver alerts after number verification.
  • Security and operational records, such as sign-ins, account changes, alert delivery results, and job reports.

2. How information is used

Information is used to authenticate your account, calculate and explain job matches, filter graduate eligibility, prevent duplicate alerts, operate your application tracker, send requested alerts, investigate reported listings, and protect the service.

Match scores are guidance based on your confirmed profile and available listing text. They are not hiring decisions or guarantees.

3. Telegram connection

Telegram is optional. A short-lived, single-use connection process checks that the phone number you choose to share through Telegram matches the registered number. Job Matcher stores only the identifiers required to maintain the connection and deliver alerts.

You can pause alerts or fully disconnect Telegram from Settings. Disconnecting removes the linked Telegram identifiers and stops delivery. Telegram's own processing is governed by its terms and privacy practices.

4. Storage and retention

Account data is retained while your account exists so the service can preserve preferences and application history. Delivery and security records may be retained as needed to keep the service reliable and investigate misuse. Deleting your account removes the account and stored resume through the in-product control.

5. Your controls

  • Review and change job preferences and alert timing.
  • Replace or delete your stored resume.
  • Pause or renew Telegram alerts.
  • Export key profile and application-tracker data.
  • Permanently delete your account from Settings.

Sign in to use account-specific export and deletion controls.

6. Security and limits

Job Matcher uses password hashing, CSRF protection, short-lived verification tokens, access controls, and security headers. No online service can promise absolute security, so use a unique password and never share email codes or Telegram verification prompts.

7. Changes to this policy

This page will be updated when data practices materially change. The revision date at the top identifies the current version.
